Can thinking of hair growth work?

Yes, if ancient Indian or Ayurvedic thinking is to go by. The thinking of sages is that everything happens twice in life- first in the mind then in reality. In other words visualize the hair and health you want. “This of course should only supplement the Hair Retention Plan or natural hair loss products you may be using”, says Ravi Bhanot from Nutrigro. Nutrigro is one of the leading brands of hair products for people with thinning/losing hair  or for the growth of existing hair.

“Before going to sleep every night I recommend visualize the type of hair and health you would want to have. In bed close your eyes look about 30 degrees (10 pm clock position of a clock) in an upward direction. It is thought that we look at the future in an optimistic light doing this. Make the vision in colour - bright, large and alive - almost as though you could touch, feel and see it. Add as much clarity to it as you can - include the colour of the hair you would like, its texture, thickness and style. If you are struggling with this - just remember it is only a dream, a goal. Remember a belief is strong but a conviction has more certainty - that is what it must be!”

Dream of your vision last thing before sleeping. Affirm to yourself, ideally speaking aloud I have lovely healthy, strong hair and great health. Or your affirmation could be: I am grateful I have the hair and health I do. Some people find it helpful to have a photo or picture of how they would like to look like stuck somewhere they can see every day, like on a cupboard door or on their computer. Do not worry about your goal. Allow your subconscious to help you reach your goal.

Relax more
Find activities that make you feel happy. If you don’t know what they are make a list of possible activities, even small ones such as reading. Try laughing more as a way of relaxing.

Be positive

Associate with happy people or those who have a positive outlook to life. Read books and articles that are positive in nature. Going to self-development seminars can help too.

Write it down!

Write out your complaints or troubles on one page and on the other side of the page write the answer(s) to your problem. It is amazing how resourceful we are. If you can’t think of the answers have some fresh air before writing, sleep on it or ask some friends for their opinions. Otherwise there is always professional help.

Have a massage

Have a head a massage such as an Ayurvedixpro® Head massage to relax muscles and increase blood flow to skin and muscles. This would also help relieve mental and emotional stress.

Be Firm
Learn to say no when you don’t want to do something or you have imposed unrealistic demands on yourself. Be honest with yourself.

Say it correctly

It is not what you say but how you say it - learn to say something effectively without offending others.

Think correctly

You can only change yourself - avoid saying or thinking “if only he, if only she, if only they”. Rather think more "what can I change about myself to make my situation better."

Accept the situation

Sometimes accepting that things are the way they are and you cannot do anything about the situation helps.

Try this and see for yourself.
